Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Bjorkegren has cautioned that Ghana's quarterfinal encounter against Algeria at the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) will be a difficult contest, despite his team's strong finish to the group stage.

The Queens secured their place in the knockout stage after a dominant 4-1 win over Tanzania, finishing second in Group C with four points.

The result followed a 2-0 opening loss to South Africa and a 1-1 draw against Mali.

While pleased with his side's progression to the next phase, Bjorkegren tempered expectations ahead of Saturday's clash. "We know now, in the play-off, it's just game by game, and all other teams are super good.
