President John Dramani Mahama has announced the establishment of a specialized anti-corruption unit at the presidency to deal with the allegations of graft.
The announcement, made during his address to Parliament, signals a renewed commitment to eradicating graft and ensuring transparency at the highest levels of government. "Mr.
Speaker, my commitment to fighting corruption will continue with the establishment of a specialized unit at the presidency, dedicated to receiving and processing complaints and reports regarding graft and corruption.
These cases will be swiftly transferred to the Office of the Attorney General for thorough investigation and prosecution," President Mahama declared.
