The has launched a vaccination program to mitigate the spread of cholera in the Central Region.
The program is expected to last a week but is subject to review.
About 300 volunteers have been trained to administer the vaccine in Winneba, while 180 volunteers will be working in Swedru.
In order to sustain the efforts being made to combat the disease, the Central Regional Coordination Council has instituted a monthly cleanup exercise to be held across the region starting from 1st March.
