(NPP) communicator Ellen Ama Daaku has criticized the government for failing to address economic hardships while allegedly targeting political opponents.
Speaking on Asaase Radio, as monitored by MyNewsGh, Daaku highlighted the economic struggles Ghanaians are facing and urged the government to focus on real solutions. "You are supposed to reset the economy, ensuring that kenkey is sold at GH¢1," she stated. "Ghanaians are not interested in what happened in the past.
That is why they voted for you." She condemned the reported raid on former Finance Minister 's residence and questioned the government's priorities. "They voted for you to reset Ghana, not to reset people's houses by sending Jakpa to invade homes," she remarked.
Her comments follow reports that a group of about 12 individuals including five in military uniforms, one in a police uniform, and others in plain clothes stormed 's residence in Cantonments on February 11, 2025, while he was abroad for medical treatment.
