Black Stars midfielder Abu Francis has completed his move to French Ligue 1 side Toulouse FC.  The 24-year-old joins the club from Belgium outfit Cercle Brugge and becomes the first Ghanaian to play for Toulouse.

Francis arrives after an outstanding campaign, which saw him make over 30 appearances for Cercle Brugge last season and also representing Ghana five times. "We are very pleased with Abu's arrival in our squad.

He is a very versatile midfielder, aggressive defensively while being able to dictate the tempo of the match offensively.

Physically, his box-to-box profile is ideal for a championship as competitive and demanding as Ligue 1," said the club's technical director Viktor Behzani.
