Ghana midfielder Abu Francis says he "can't wait to start this new challenge" after finalising his move to French Ligue 1 side Toulouse FC.

The 24-year-old joins from Cercle Brugge in a deal worth around €2.5 million and becomes the French club's third signing of the summer following a routine medical on Wednesday.

Speaking to Toulouse's official website, the Right to Dream Academy graduate expressed his delight at joining the 2023 Coupe de France winners. "I'm very happy to be here.

I can't wait to start this new challenge and join this wonderful family," he said. "I'm also looking forward to discovering the Pink City and meeting all the club's incredible supporters." Francis, who began his professional career with Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland, made over 60 league appearances for Cercle Brugge since his arrival in 2022.
