Economic Policy Analyst, Senyo Hosi, has commended President John Dramani Mahama for intervening in the base pay negotiation which allowed labour to accept the 10 per cent increment.

He says that the President's demeanour shows he wants to leave a legacy "We haven't seen this type of humility from a President for a long time.

For his part, the CEO of Ghana's Shippers Authority, Professor Ransford Gyampo told all appointees of the Mahama administration to demonstrate modesty in their lifestyle as labour accepts the paltry 10 per cent salary increment.
