President has expressed concerns about the state of the economy and how it was managed by the previous government.
Addressing officials of Organised Labor in an engagement on Thursday, February 20, 2025, President Mahama lamented how poorly the economy was managed by his predecessor, describing the country as a "crime scene" due to the state of affairs.
According to him, he knew the economy was not in good condition and that the country had been plunged into crisis.
However, he has been astounded by the extent of the rot since assuming office.
