The government has approved a 10% wage increase for public sector employees.

This decision follows successful negotiations between Organised Labour/Associations and President , who personally engaged with them to secure their support for the adjustment.

On Monday, February 3, 2025, the National Tripartite Committee, comprising representatives from the government, employers, and Organised Labour/Associations, began discussions to determine the 2025 minimum wage and salary adjustments.

The last salary increase for public sector workers in Ghana was in 2024 when the government approved a 23% raise to adjust for the cost of living and economic conditions.
