The Office of the Special Prosecutor has removed former finance minister Ken Ofori-Atta from the wanted list.

This was after the former minister provided the office with a date for his voluntary return to the country.

The recent development is a shift from his previous intention of remaining outside the jurisdiction indefinitely.

A statement issued on February 18, 2025, signed by Kissi Agyebeng said the former finance minister would be dragged back to the wanted list if he failed to return to the country and also did not appear before the OSP for their scheduled meeting.
