Ghana's Agriculture Minister, Hon.
Eric Opoku, has announced that the government has increased the earnings of cocoa farmers from an initial 60% to 70% of the world market price.
This announcement was made on behalf of the government through the sector minister in a post shared via social media.
While announcing, he said, "I have announced the government's decision to exceed the initial 60% proposal and offer cocoa farmers 70% of the world market price.".
