Private legal practitioner Abraham Amaliba has expressed a strong preference for the credibility of Dr.
Dominic Ayine over former Attorney General Godfred Dame, citing past actions that distinguish the two. "I would rely on the credibility of Dominic Ayine than Godfred Odame on any day because Ayine has been on record to prosecute his own government appointee, his colleague-true or false?" Amaliba questioned during his appearance on The Big Issue on Channel One TV monitored by MyNewsGh.
He contrasted this with the conduct of Godfred Dame, stating, "Godfred Dame is on record to have discontinued the investigation of a colleague-true or false?" Amaliba argued that this inconsistency made Ayine's integrity more reliable.
According to him, different legal practitioners have varying perspectives on legal ethics. "If one lawyer thinks that witness tampering is repugnant and affects the credibility of a case, their conclusion will be different from another lawyer who sees nothing wrong with it," he explained.
