Swedish tactician Kim Lars Bjorkegren has expressed his excitement and confidence in Ghana's football potential, stating that he believes the team has what it takes to be successful looking at the talent pool the nation has.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) officially unveiled the new head coach of the Black Queens, Kim Lars Bjorkegren, to the public on Friday after signing a two-year contract to lead the women's senior national team.

The 43-year-old replaces Nora Häuptle, who left to join Zambia following the expiration of her contract in the summer.

In his first speech to the general public, the gaffer highlighted the abundance of talent in Ghana. "I can see so much talent in this country, so I am really sure that, in the short term, we have the potential to be successful.
