Grace Ofure Ibhakhomu, the CEO of Lifecard Group, has called for a renewal of workplace mindsets to drive higher productivity and improve job satisfaction.
She emphasized that many workplaces suffer from low efficiency, and a shift in perspective is essential to change this narrative.
Speaking at the launch of the 9 to 5 Compendium Training Initiative on February 7, 2025, a programme designed to reshape workplace culture and equip professionals with the right mindset for greater productivity and fulfillment, Ibhakhomu urged the Ghanaian government to implement in-service training programs for civil servants. "What is important is for you to become a high performer," she stated. "There is so much depression, and people are committing suicide because of their work environment.
This training will teach them how to be excited about their jobs, create wealth, and contribute to economic growth.
