Former CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, has criticised some members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for quoting an inaccurate 38% figure as the party's performance in the 2024 elections.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, February 8, he pointed out that the official results from the Electoral Commission (EC) showed that the NPP secured 41.75% (42%) of the votes, not 38%, as some members have claimed.

Nkansah expressed concern that certain NPP members deliberately used the lower figure to push their own agenda. "If you will reduce your own Party's percentage or use NDC propaganda figure because you want another person as flagbearer, then you are obviously not a 'correct' Party person," he stated.

He criticised those within the party who, in his view, were undermining the NPP's performance for personal or political gain.
