The Amankrahene of Gomoa Aju­mako Traditional Area, Nana Odoom Amanfo IV, has asked the youth of Gomoa Akropong No2 to pool their resources together to help build a great and strong town. ''Our forefathers have done their parts and gone, as the youth of today we must also contribute our quota to leave a mark worthy of remembrance,'' Nana Amanfo stated.

The Amankrahene, who is also the Chief of Akropong No2, made the call when he addressed a durbar to climax their Annual Akwambo festival at Gomoa Akropong in the Central region.

Nana Amanfo commended the youth of the town for their active involvement in the week-long festival with many activities which including a float through the principal streets of the town, quiz for schools at Akropong, Gomoa Aboso and Gomoa Benso.

The Amankrahene also stated that the chiefs and planning com­mittee would complete a multipur­pose Information Communication and Technology centre this year to assist school children to become computer literate. "Measures to support the students and pupils to study hard to become good and responsible adults, have been put in place," Nana Amanfo stated.
