Majority Chief Whip and Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, has issued a stern warning, threatening demonstrations and unrest if the Electoral Commission (EC) fails to declare the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate as the winner of the Ablekuma North parliamentary election within a week.
Speaking on the floor of Parliament, Annoh-Dompreh expressed frustration over the delayed declaration of results, rallying his party members to stand firm. "If you're NPP and you find an NDC supporter fighting a fellow NPP member, help beat the NDC," he stated. "I love demonstrations.
In fact, I crave them now!" His comments come amid growing tensions over the outcome of the Ablekuma North parliamentary race, with the NPP insisting that its candidate rightfully won the election.
The delay in the official declaration has sparked concerns within the party, with calls for immediate action.
