Former Defence Minister Dominic Nitiwul has urged the Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) team, led by North Tongu lawmaker and Foreign Affairs Minister-designate Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, to find out the owners of the state lands in Borteyman, Accra.
He also wants the ORAL team to find out the owners of the Aviation, Lands at Adenta, the lands behind the Military cemetery and also those around the Residency in Tamale.
During a debate on the ministerial nominees in Parliament on Tuesday, February 4, the Bimbilla Member of Parliament said "I commend them for saying they will do ORAL work.
I just want you to make sure that the ORAL committee is set up appropriately according to the law and the way you work. "But I want them to go to Borteyman first and check the lands that was given between 2014 and 2016, who benefited from Borteyman lands. "The lands that share a boundary with affordable houses that President Kufuor built, state lands, they were given out in 2014, 2015 2016, find out the people who own that land. "I want you to go to the Aviation Land, that huge land at Madina-Adenta, find out the people who own that land. "Go to Tamale, behind what we call the residency, where the president sometimes goes and sleeps; they are all state lands, go and find out the owners of those lands.
