A member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Safety and Security Committee, Felix Bewu has strongly condemned the tragic death of football fan Francis Yaw Frimpong, known as Pooley, during last Sunday's Ghana Premier League match between Nsoatreman FC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC at the Nana Koranmansah Park in Nsoatre.
The incident, which occurred in the latter stages of the second half, has sent shockwaves through the football community.

Bewu expressed deep sorrow over the loss, emphasizing that such violence has no place in football. "Football should be played in a safe and respectful environment, free from violence, assaults, and intimidation," he stated. "We cannot afford to lose lives over the game.
