John, says that fixing the longstanding water crisis in Tamale and its surrounding areas will be his top priority as he takes office as the Regional Minister.

Speaking to journalists at the Re­gional Coordinating Council here on his first day in office yesterday, he assured residents of swift and decisive action to improve water access. "President John Dramani Maha­ma has emphasised that resolving Tamale's water challenges is a key government agenda, and I am here to ensure that this vision becomes a reality," Mr John stated. "We cannot allow residents to continue suffering from erratic water supply.

Immediate steps will be taken to enhance our water infrastructure," he added.
