Ghanaian businessman and philanthropist Ibrahim Mahama recently gave 13-year-old Melchizedek Adio Baafawiise a once-in-a-lifetime experience aboard one of his private jets, offering the young scholar an exclusive tour of the aircraft and a chance to see the cockpit in action.

The experience was a dream come true for Melchizedek, whose passion for aviation and science has shaped his remarkable academic journey.

The meeting, held in Accra on February 3, 2025, was not only a celebration of Melchizedek's achievements but also a commitment to his future.

Hailing from Bole in the Savannah Region, he made history as the youngest student ever admitted to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), securing a spot in the Bachelor of Science in Physics program after earning 5 As and 3 Bs in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
