Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Acting Spokesperson for President John Dramani Mahama, has expressed confidence in the ability of the eight-member committee appointed to organise the National Education Forum to deliver on its mandate.

The committee, tasked with planning and executing the forum, is part of President Mahama's commitment to advancing Ghana's education sector, a promise he made during his 2024 election campaign.

Speaking on the Channel One Newsroom on Sunday, February 2, 2024, Kwakye Ofosu emphasised the importance of selecting individuals with the right expertise and understanding of the education system. "To set up a platform for this to happen, some planning has to be done so that the modalities that will go into the holding of the forum will be known," he stated.

He further explained that the committee's tasks include identifying key stakeholders, determining the timeframe, assessing potential costs, and pinpointing specific areas of Ghana's education system that require improvement. "We need people who understand the system and have the requisite skills.
