Recent heavy rains have left a trail of destruction in Adumasa, a community in the Juaben Municipality in the Ashanti Region, rendering several residents homeless.
The strong winds accompanying the rains ripped off roofs, forcing many to seek refuge elsewhere in the community.
For months, the affected residents struggled to find decent shelter and their lives were severely disrupted.
However, hope arrived in the form of a generous donation from Francis Owusu Akyaw, the Member of Parliament for Juaben Constituency.
