A physically challenged cobbler, believed to be in his 30s, tragically lost his life on Saturday when a private saloon car ran over him along the Sunyani-Abesim highway.
According to a GNA report, the deceased, popularly known in the area as "Connection," had gone to collect a phone charger from a friend and was on his way home when the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck him.
The incident occurred near the Oti Yeboah Company Limited (OYCL) section of the road.
When the GNA arrived at the scene around 15:30 hours, police officers were present to retrieve the body, while bystanders, who had covered it with leaves, discussed the accident.
