Ghanaians can expect a more streamlined and effective approach to SIM card registration, according to Communications Minister-Designate, Sam George.
Speaking about the upcoming initiative, George acknowledged the challenges faced by many citizens during the previous registration process, which he described as rushed and ineffective. "The last SIM card registration was not well thought out.
It was rushed and lacked proper checks, leading to many Ghanaians losing their registered SIM cards," he stated during an interview.
In response to these issues, the Minister-Designate assured the public that this time, the process would be more sensible and organized. "We will ensure that there are no long queues this time around.
