Communications Minister-Designate Sam George has indicated that the quality of voice calls is a major challenge and not the cost involved.
According to him, Ghanaian customers and consumers have been shortchanged over the years.
However, as Minister, he will ensure that Ghanaians are offered the best of services with the support of the government in ensuring strict adherence to KPIs set for the telecommunication organizations.
Sam George was speaking at the vetting which took place on January 30, 2025. "Once again on the issue of voice calls, I think that the real issue of voice calls is not necessarily the cost if I understand the market.
