Youth activist Oliver Barker Vormawor has told the Appointment Committee that he is happy to pull down the post that necessitated his invitation before the committee.
He says he kept the post there because it was misinterpreted and thought it would be imperative if invited to explain.
Appearing before Parliament's Appointments Committee on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, Oliver Barker Vormawor said "I'm saying here clearly that my post was not intended to disparage members of the committee, and I have not intended to say that members of this committee have received or demanded bribe from various individuals.
At no point was my statement intended to communicate same and for these reasons I apologise".
