Activist, Oliver Barker-Vormawor has said that his comments about members of the Appointments Committee taking money to approve appointees was a statement of a whistleblower about happenings that needed to be looked into.
He has since apologized to the Committee for the comments saying it was not intentional to make such disparaging comments. "It was never intentional to make disparaging comments about the committee." He added, "It is the statement of a whistleblower about some happenings that must be looked at."
