Three people have sustained injuries in a shooting incident between two youth groups over a parcel of land in the business district of the Northern Region.
Sources at the Tamale Teaching Hospital confirmed that some people were brought in with bullet wounds on Tuesday morning.
Tension started building up last night when one group laid claim to the land, asserting ownership.
They destroyed the cordon and materials on the site.
