President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Abdulai Bashiru Dapilah as the Acting Executive Director of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

Effective Monday, 27 January 2025, the appointment was confirmed in a letter dated 23 January and signed by Callistus Mahama, Secretary to the President.

The decision complies with Article 195(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 11(1) of the Economic and Organised Crime Act, 2010 (Act 804).

It is subject to the advice of EOCO's Governing Board in consultation with the Public Services Commission, as required by the Constitution.
