John Jinapor, has been widely praised for his dedication to empowering qualified young professionals by facilitating their appointment by President Mahama into key leadership roles within the energy sector under his leadership Jinapor's commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders has been hailed as a progressive move to ensure innovation and sustainability in Ghana's energy industry.   Stakeholders in the energy sector have expressed optimism about this development, highlighting the minister's strategic foresight in identifying and appointing young talents to key positions.  Many call him the "Energy Sector godfather" in the Umbrella family.  The Yapei Kusawgu lawmaker who is credited with the rise of NDC youth sensation Malik Basintale has now added to his wings young appointees to the various agencies under the Ministry of Energy led by him.  The latest to join the list is the dynamic and highly capable professional, Edmond Kombat who is said to be heading to the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR).  The minister has also overseen the appointment of Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe to the National Petroleum Authority.
