Ibrahim Tia, the North-East Regional Minister Designate, has affirmed his commitment to ensuring the successful completion of ongoing projects in the region.
Speaking during his vetting session with the Appointments Committee in an interview, Tia emphasised that all projects initiated in the region are of great importance to the people and are a top priority for his administration. "All projects that have been introduced in the region are very dear to the people and we are there as humble servants of the people.
We will ensure that all those projects are executed. "Even by the policy of President John Dramani Mahama, he pledged on several platforms that he will make sure that he completes all projects that are ongoing and will initiate fresh projects," he stated. "I will collaborate with all the MPs in my region to lobby all the ministries and agencies that are directly involved to seek funding to get them completed.
I assure you that the watermelon juice factory that the previous government started and couldn't complete is my priority," he stated.
