A truck overturned on the Achimota-Tesano road in Accra on Saturday evening, January 25, causing severe traffic congestion as vehicles were forced to use a single lane.
Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were recorded, as the truck driver, who was the sole occupant, escaped the accident unscathed.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver claimed that another vehicle suddenly cut into his lane, prompting him to swerve in an attempt to avoid a collision.
This maneuver, however, resulted in him losing control of the truck, which subsequently overturned.
