Kingsley Amoakwa-Boadu, a member of the New Patriotic Party's legal directorate, has indicated that the party will soon subject the John Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) government to constructive criticism in a bid to ensure it works efficiently for the benefit of Ghanaians.
Speaking on TV3's 'KeyPoints' programme, he emphasized the importance of focusing on the future and not dwelling on past political losses. "For the previous government, they've lost, it's a historical loss, there's no argument about that. "So, look at the future, look at what the people expect," Amoakwa-Boadu remarked, reflecting on the NDCs victory in the recent elections and the need to focus on meeting the public's demands. "From maybe six months to nine months coming, you will get a lot of heat from us.
Now we have to give you the space to operate," he continued, indicating that the NPP will be holding the new administration accountable while giving it time to settle into its role.
