Former General Secretary of the Convention People's Party (CPP), Nana Yaa Jantuah, who has been appointed by President John Mahama as a Presidential Staffer, did not take kindly to a question about whether she has abandoned the CPP.

Ellen Ama Daaku, a member of the communication team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), appeared on a TV3 program as a panelist alongside Nana Yaa Jantuah and questioned if the Presidential Staffer's appointment signified an official move to join the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC). "I sat here at this table about a year and a half ago and asked her [Nana Yaa Jantuah] to join the NDC.

When I saw how she was speaking and her campaign, I actually suggested she vie for the position of Women's Organizer in the NDC.

She was very furious with me at the time-just after they [the CPP] had come out of their election.
