The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Majority caucus in Parliament has elected a new leadership team to lead the party and drive the government's legislative priorities in the House.
This change comes in the wake of several key appointments by President John Mahama in his administration by assigning some Majority MPs to critical ministerial roles.
The former Majority Leader and economist, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, has been elevated to the role of Minister for Finance, a move widely regarded as pivotal for steering Ghana's economic recovery.
To fill his shoes, the caucus has turned to Mahama Ayariga, the MP for Bawku Central.
