Minister-designate for Youth Development and Empowerment, George Opare-Addo, has emphasized the need to eradicate violence from national development, asserting that it has no place in the Ghana he aspires to build.

He attributed the persistence of violence to the escalating challenge of youth unemployment, warning that if this issue is not addressed, it could undermine the nation's stability.

Speaking at his vetting before the Appointments Committee of Parliament on January 22, 2025, Opare-Addo said, "Violence has no place in Ghana that I want.

Violence has no space in national developments, so nobody should subscribe to it.
