The Professionals Forum, a pro NDC group has expressed concerns over what they described as a "forceful takeovers and unrest" in some parts of the country.

The latest incident is a violent protest at Bole-Bamboi, President Mahama's hometown.

Aggrieved youths hit the street and destroyed properties to demand the appointment of NDC members from the constituency into national offices. "The NDC Professionals Forum is deeply concerned about the ongoing forceful takeovers of government offices and institutions by rogue youth masquerading as NDC Youth.

These actions are unacceptable and undermine the democratic principles and values that our party stands for," the Global President of Proforum, Sam Pee Yalley wrote in a press release issued on January 22.
