The Appointment Committee of Parliament will begin vetting of Regional Ministerial nominees named by President John Dramani Mahama on Thursday, January 23, 2025.

A memorandum from the Director of Media Relations at Parliament sighted by 3News indicates that the vetting will continue to Monday, January 27 at the Committee rooms 1, 2 and 3, new administration block.

According to Ghana's constitutional provisions, the Speaker of Parliament must approve ministerial appointments before they are sworn into office.

The process typically involves background checks and parliamentary vetting to ensure the suitability of the candidates.
