Over 300 persons have submitted their names to be considered as Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) across 43 assemblies in the Ashanti Region.

The office of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Region has set aside three days for vetting of these individuals.

Vetting for 11 district assemblies is expected to happen today, January 16 as the process has already commenced.

Throughout the process, 343 applicants will present their qualifications, leadership skills, and vision to the selection committee.
