Former Member of Parliament for Subin Eugene Boakye Antwi has indicated that the poor state of the economy during the 2024 elections forced Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to focus his campaign on other sectors of the economy.
To him, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party in the 2024 election could not speak on the economy because it was then in shambles.
Eugene Boakye Antwi who was speaking on Accra-based Asempa FM, said, "Well, you see, when Dr Bawumia was going around, was he able to speak to the economy?
He could not because of the state in which the economy was; there was no way he could speak about it.
