The Bulk Energy Storage and Transportation Limited (BOST) over the weekend donated over 11,000 exercise books and supplementary reading materials to six basic schools at Akosombo in the Asuogyaman district of the Eastern Region.
Some of the beneficiary schools included Atimpoku RC Basic School and Atimpoku L/A Junior High School, (JHS).
The gesture form part of BOST's nationwide educational support programme, targets schools and operational communities, with the goal of distributing 100,000 learning materials nationwide.
Speaking at the event, the BOST's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager, Yaw Antwi Dadzie, stated, "We are ensuring that schools in communities surrounding our depots have the necessary learning materials to boost education.
