The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the postponement of the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda 2024 to August 2025.
The tournament which was initially schedule for February will now be played in August.
While significant progress has been made in the construction and upgrading of stadiums, training facilities, hotels, hospitals, and other key infrastructure across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, CAF's technical and infrastructure experts have advised that additional time is needed to ensure that all facilities meet the required standards for a successful tournament.
