The Kontihene of Akyem Asuom, Nana Boadi Amponim Abobade III, has stated that President was not pleased about losing the prestigious presidential chair.
According to him, during the presidential inauguration held on January 7, 2024, Akufo-Addo appeared uncomfortable with the fact that President would take over, judging by his demeanor at the event.
Nana Boadi Amponim Abobade III indicated that this discomfort stems from Akufo-Addo's special attachment to the chair, which was even transported in an armored V8 vehicle when he traveled around the country.
