The Ghana Police Service has explained the cause of the chaos at Ejura in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
Reports in the local media indicated that Chaos had erupted at Ejura, where the youth had set the police installation there ablaze.
The action by the youth ensured that some suspects who were remanded at the facility escaped.
A statement from the police said the chaos erupted after a suspect was arrested on January 10, 2025, for an alleged stealing case.
