Political analyst Dr Ansah-Asante has urged President John Dramani Mahama to fulfil his promise of streamlining governance by limiting his administration to 60 ministers.

This call follows growing scepticism among Ghanaians regarding the feasibility of the President's pledge to run a lean government, including regional ministers.

Critics have raised concerns about whether such a structure can be achieved, given the history of bloated administrations.

While acknowledging the challenge of restricting ministerial appointments to 60, especially with thousands of CVs from hopeful candidates, President Mahama has expressed his commitment to the goal.
