Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, Murtala Mohammed, has reminded the (NDC) government that retaining power will depend on how the government governs the people of Ghana.

He argues that the Ghanaian voter has become increasingly sophisticated and no longer cares about party affiliation.

Rather, they are concerned with the government's ability to deliver on promises and improve the economy during its tenure.

Murtala Mohammed made these remarks during an interview on TV3. "Retaining power will depend on how we govern," he said, noting that Ghanaian voters now base their decisions on issues rather than party loyalty.
