The Deputy National Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Osman Ayariga, has issued a strong caution to individuals expected to assume roles in the administration of President-elect John Dramani Mahama.

Ayariga's remarks came during the party's victory walk in Accra on Saturday, January 4, 2025, where jubilant supporters gathered to celebrate the NDC's return to power.

Addressing the crowd, Ayariga underscored the critical need for appointees in the incoming government to maintain humility and a strong connection to the party's grassroots base.

His warning was a direct appeal to ensure that those entrusted with leadership roles avoid complacency and arrogance, which could alienate supporters and jeopardize the party's renewed mandate. "We won't entertain any arrogant appointees," Ayariga declared emphatically. "The youth will not stand for actions that risk taking the party back into opposition.
