Ruben Amorim believes Manchester United's players should be "really really mad" with their inconsistent performances after battling to a 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield.
Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah overturned Lisandro Martinez's opener before Amad Diallo fired a deserved equaliser for Amorim's side, and the United head coach called out his players for not showing this level of application on a regular basis.
United had lost their last four matches in all competitions prior to an improved display at Anfield, with Amorim admitting they were under threat of relegation in the build-up. "The expectations were so different to what we saw during the game," Amorim told Sky Sports. "I get more mad because of the other games.
It's even harder to understand. "This is not about the system or the technique, it's about something else.
