Traders at the Kantamanto Market in Accra have begun the process of rebuilding their stalls and shops just a day after a devastating fire ravaged the market on Thursday, January 2.

The fire, which broke out in the early hours of the morning, caused widespread destruction, affecting over ten thousand traders and destroying more than 7,000 shops.

Despite the overwhelming devastation, traders are determined to recover.

A visit by 3News.com to the market on Friday revealed a scene of resilience, with traders clearing debris and making efforts to rebuild their livelihoods.
